Is it safe to convert confidential documents here?
Yes. Unlike traditional converters, your file is never uploaded — parsing and PDF generation happen entirely in your browser, so there is nothing to intercept or leak.
Why only .docx, not .doc?
The legacy binary .doc format from Word 97-2003 cannot be parsed by browser technology. Open the file in Word or WPS and use "Save As → .docx" first — it takes ten seconds.
Will my formatting be preserved?
Headings, paragraphs, tables, lists, and basic styles are preserved well. Very complex layouts (text boxes, floating images, exotic fonts) may shift slightly — check the preview before downloading.
